About jb Consulting and Psychology JB Consulting and Psychology provides an integrative holistic approach. We have been helping clients improve their mental health through counselling, educational and consulting services since 2009. We have also been committed to helping adults, children and young people manage attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms, self-regulate their behaviour, learning and achievement, social skills building, social anxiety, depressive symptoms, trauma and more. We also work with families and schools and the workplace to support client's strengths, improve their social context and help others understand the cause of behaviour, improve learning and achievement and social skills building. Josephine established jb Consulting and Psychology in 2009 with a vision to create a platform that will encourage growth, potential and good mental health as well as helping clients understand their needs and how to fulfil them. Our mission is to help children and young people have the best start in life as well as build a life of competence and best mental health; for parents and those who care for them such as staff to improve their caring role; to help clients cope with life challenges; and build a healthier society. Services include developing programs, running workshops, and sharing her expert knowledge.

Summary of Previous and Current Professional History of Josephine Josephine is a contract counsellor for Carer's Victoria and Family Relationship Support for Carers, where she provides her skills, knowledge and support to manage the carer's stress, depression and relationship challenges that comes from being a carer. She also helps them understand the diagnosis of the person they are caring for. Over the years, Josephine has also been helping clients including children and young people improve their interpersonal behaviour, improve mental health such as depression, manage anxiety and stress, manage ADHD symptoms and autism, improve assertive skills, anger management, and how to make and keep friends. She has run presentations about dementia.
Previously Josephine has run audits, consultation, workshops and one-to-one sessions in the workplace including Caroline Springs Fire Brigade, Body Mechanix Personal Training and MacKillop Family Services to improve workplace relationships, team work, assertive skills and customer contact. Josephine has also updated educational programs for organisations and run workshops at childcare centres to educate staff about safe sleep and rest for infants and toddlers as well as social and emotional development in infants and toddlers.

She has completed training for behaviour management for young people with autism, understanding challenging behaviour, Family Focus Intervention, trauma focused cognitive behaviour therapy for children and adolescents, as well as PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). Josephine has successfully completed the Emotional Freedom Technique and Process Experiential Emotion-focused Therapy workshop and a Diploma in Professional, Writing and Editing. She engages in their community to keep updated, because she understands that the mental health industry and society is not static but always evolving.
