Although it can help you manage your thoughts the focus of behaviour modification is on behaviour. The theory states that changing your behaviour will change your thoughts and feelings.
Behaviour Modification works on rewards and punishment to reinforce new behaviour. New behaviours are shaped successively with a reinforcer and eventually changed.
