Parenting Coordination

Parenting Coordination

Josephine from JB Consulting and Psychology provides a child focused parenting coordination service.  JB Consulting and Psychology, Psychologist providing support for co-parenting, parallel parenting and parenting coordination includes a dispute resolution process to:
  • Reduce conflict
  • Improve communication especially during high conflict relationships
  • Remain child focused and trauma informed
  • Improve ability to maintain parenting plans
  • Improve decision making
Parenting after separation can be complex—especially when conflict affects decision-making and children’s wellbeing. As a registered psychologist and parenting coordinator, I offer structured, child-focused support to help separated parents navigate co-parenting challenges with clarity, compassion, and accountability.
Whether court-appointed or privately engaged, parenting coordination provides a practical pathway to reduce conflict, improve communication, and prioritise your child’s needs.

As your parenting coordinator, I:
  • Facilitate respectful communication
  • Clarify misunderstandings and expectations
  • Help resolve disputes with the aim to avoid returning to court
  • Support compliance with parenting plans and orders
  • Keep the focus on your child’s wellbeing and development
Why Work With A Psychologist
As a psychologist, I bring trauma-informed, evidence-based care to every session. My approach is:
  • Neutral and child-focused
  • Grounded in psychological science and family law
  • Sensitive to neurodiversity and disability
  • Aligned with Australian Standards and Family Court protocols
I understand the emotional toll of separation and conflict—and I’m here to support both parents in creating a more stable, cooperative environment for your child.
