Counselling for cancer patients. Receiving a diagnosis of cancer can result in many emotions which may range from fear, grief, anger, hopelessness and struggling to manage and/or express emotions.
Counselling can help you process the diagnosis and receive support along your journey. Counselling can also help you reflect on who to tell, when to tell others and reflect on life decisions you need to make. Counselling can also be helpful for carers and other family members. Counselling for cancer patients also involves grief and loss, such as grieving the loss of your health, loss of your career and thoughts of what you wanted for your future.
