The Social Skills and Self-esteem Circle is group work for young people aged between 12 and 18 years of age to help them improve their ability to:
Make and keep friends
Manage stress during social situations
Manage thoughts and behaviour
Learn about their uniqueness
Learn how to make decisions
The sessions will help your young person to improve their self-control and self-confidence so they can be on the way to become socially active while their uniqueness shines.
The ten sessions run for 1.5 hours with an investment of $60 for each session. Each person will be encouraged to learn the skills between sessions to enhance learning.
Sessions will be held in Essendon North. Please contact Josephine to express your interest.
Group size will be up to 6 people. Parents are encouraged to stay in the last 15 minutes to learn what their child/children has learned and how to best support him or her.
